Charissa Thompson born May 4th, 1982 located in Seattle Washington United States is a well-known and successful Sportscaster. ESPN analyst who was hired as co-host of SportsNation in 2012. She hosted ABC's Splash show with Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born and raised in Seattle Washington. She was the youngest of three brothers, Thompson realized the broadcasting career was something she wanted from an early stage. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School, Kenmore Washington. Thompson attended California for community college to gain California residency. She later transferred to University of California Santa Barbara and earned a bachelor of arts. in Law and Society in 2004. When Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) in order to take a class at a community college located in California prior to transferring onto UC Santa Barbara Thompson has clarified she did not attend WSU. Thompson received an invitation from Sports Illustrated to do body painting in their Swimsuit issue before beginning her broadcasting career. Lead vocalist for the New York based Pop Rock group Against the Current, who released the EP Infinity in the year 2014. They first gained attention for their cover versions of popular artists on YouTube. Alongside Against the Current they did an collaborative work in collaboration with She, and Against the Current collaborated with Alex Goot for the Good Time cover of Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen.
