Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I was a gruelling 12 hour days sanding floors and tearing down wallpaper with one baby strapped to my back, and others playing in the playpen. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it was far from done. For furnishing the space would be an enormous undertaking both in time and money. I would also have to do my favourite shopping. To keep the budget in check, I started going to estate sales with three boys searching for jewels in the rough. We used to go on a weekly basis of walking around auctions and garage sales on Saturday and Sunday as well as purchase various of furniture, both new and old constructed. My work days were spent at the end of the driveway, either painting or sanding. My love for furniture repair began with a look similar to this. Even after our house was furnished I couldn't quit! At the local market I set up a little area and then sold a few objects. I could outgrow the area because I had many more pieces than I was able to use. The house became a venue in which I held open houses where up 1000 people would be able to view items from my first floor and purchase them. Growing Days was created in this house. Growing Days wasn't just a thriving business but it was also a loving family. I was balancing the demands between what it took starting a new venture as well as a mother too. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. My sweet Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth child. The direction my company was heading was fantastic, but I had to take some time off. I decided to slow down and spend some time in my home with my kids. That was exactly what I was looking for at the moment. After a couple of months, my phone started to begin to. Numerous people reached me to ask for advice regarding home improvements and decor. It was mostly those who came to my open residence to buy furniture. The time flew by before I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. It began with taking clients on one with a speed I felt confident in. When I first heard about my business in home renovation I laughed. When I look at it, it has made me laugh.
