Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native born in Houston on the 17th April in 1972. William John Garner served as an engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner taught in a college near her. Desiring to follow in her father's footsteps, she graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. Then she moved into New York in order to fulfill her ambitions as an actor. In addition to appearing in Broadway productions, she was a waitress at a nearby restaurant. Her cameo was in the show "Felicity." (It is on this show that she met her first husband Scott Foley.) Garner made her mark with the romantic comedy "13 Goin' on 30" where she played the role of a teenage girl trapped within an adult's body. Garner decided to hire Gary Winick (director) to create the film. Together, they searched for new projects to do until Winick passed away in the year 2011. Garner has been designated as an artist ambassador by Save the Children U.S.A. during 2009, had an integral role in the nonprofit organization. The program focuses on literacy, nutrition and early childhood education. From 2014 onwards, Garner has been a participant on the board of trustees of the organization. She has been pushing for early elementary education. In her role as an ambassador, Garner visits frequently with families that participate in Early Steps to School Success the program which trains parents on ways to support the children in learning.

She played the role of Juliette Silverton/Eve on Grimm, the NBC series Grimm and Lois Lane as part of The CWArrowverse series including Superman & Lois.
