Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward from 2011. Tarlov was one of two daughters born in the home of her grandparents in Manhattan. At the age of 10, Tarlov played her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of an Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was greatly praised by the audience that included seven-year-olds. She attended classes in Paris at NYU Tisch and then took part in summer camps during her teen years studying Interlochen Center for the Arts. She was trained in a variety of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company also trained her as she learned to to integrate writing in to her acting in classes like the LAByrinth Theater Masters Class. Molly changed her jacket for a black pair of sunglasses before leaving for Los Angeles. Her parents were awestruck with her performance of three words on iCarly. In the years since, she's appeared on television in numerous roles. She also created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly likes to think she's a basketball pro even though she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
